A Day of Innovation

Dear Alumni and Fellow Students,

You are cordially invited to join us for a guided tour to the Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) Display Centre organised by the Construction Industry Council (CIC). Innovative construction method i.e. adopting concept of “factory assembly followed by on-site installation" was used to build the centre. It is the first building constructed using MiC in Hong Kong. This building method helps to ease some of the current challenges faced by the local construction industry. The tour will be conducted in Cantonese.

Concurrently you and your family are also invited to enjoy the Smart City Day which ICAAHK co-organised with the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association. Imperial alumni and students will be hosting smart tech displays/workshops and showing current state-of-the-art videos on Imperial College: Creating the Future. We will take you through Imperial’s breakthroughs in smart devices, new discoveries and our students’ exciting journeys. No pre-registration is required for the Smart City Day.
