As Professor Alice Gast shared at ICAAHK’s 35th Anniversary Gala during her visit to Hong Kong in 2017, “Collaboration across geographic boundaries and academic disciplines is essential to a vibrant academic and scientific community. We must continue to collaborate across borders.”
Professor Gast’s words have certainly been put into action throughout her eight-year term. We are grateful for her dedication in connecting alumni communities globally, and in continuing to lead collaborations amidst the pandemic.
